HOW TO OBTAIN RESULTS OF
CERTIFICATION EXAM:
Exams are sent to the Professional Examination Service to be scored and results may take up to 90 days to be returned to the MVMA.
Once they are returned, results will be mailed in
letterform to technicians.
YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE RESULTS IF WE DO NOT HAVE YOUR
CURRENT ADDRESS ON FILE.
PLEASE KEEP THE MVMA UPDATED OF ANY ADDRESS AND/OR
NAME CHANGES!
HOW TO OBTAIN CERTIFIED
VETERINARY TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATE:
Send a copy of your DIPLOMA or official TRANSCRIPTS to the MVMA office. If you passed both exams, a Certificate, Continuing Education Card, and information on recertification are mailed to you as soon as possible.
TRANSCRIPTS ARE NOT
ACCEPTED!
CERTIFICATES WILL NOT BE MAILED UNTIL WE RECEIVE A DIPLOMA OR TRANSCRIPTS! HOW TO BE
RECERTIFIED:
Certified Veterinary Technicians need to recertify
every two years.
10 continuing education credits need to be obtained
to recertify.
A continuing education credit is equal to 1 hour of
lecture.
The current renewal fee for technicians is $40.00.
Certified Veterinary Technicians are notified to
renew their certification. Without a current address
you may not be notified.
