This year’s MVMA Path to Practice event will be held on Tuesday, March 18 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Midland Hills Country Club in Roseville, MN.

Path to Practice is an annual student opportunities/job fair organized by MVMA that brings together 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine and representatives from up to 27 clinics/organizations. 

This is an unmatched free opportunity for MVMA members to meet with veterinary students who are looking for jobs, externships, internships, and/or summer opportunities, and make important connections as they think about the next chapter of their lives. 

The event begins with lunch, followed by 90 minutes for you to speak informally with students as they mingle and move across the various clinic/organization tables. The goal of this time is for students to get an overview of participating clinics/organizations and learn about your practice and what you offer for internships, externships, full time positions, etc. The final hour of the event is reserved for one-on-one conversations, giving you the opportunity to speak more in depth with students interested in a professional opportunity.

We are looking for a wide range of clinics including small, mixed, and large/food animal, as well as equine exclusive, research, public health, and wildlife. We have space for 27 clinics total, and spots for some clinic types fill faster than others.
