Learn techniques for upgrading your ophthalmology surgery skills! This presentation will provide detailed information about common ocular surgeries including entropion, third eyelid gland prolapse, wedge-resection, conjunctival biopsy, and more as time allows. Dr. Andrew Rogen will provide tips and tricks for each procedure to help improve your outcomes and knowledge base.

Dr. Andrew Rogen is a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist. Andrew's interest in veterinary medicine began at his family's small animal veterinary clinic and on their family farm near Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Those two experiences convinced Andrew that caring for animals and their people was his passion. Andrew graduated from South Dakota State University prior to receiving a doctorate in veterinary medicine from Iowa State University in 2015. He then completed both a small animal general internship and ophthalmology specialty internship in Oregon. Dr. Rogen completed a three-year comparative ophthalmology residency program at Eye Care for Animals while working in Southern California and Wisconsin. He attained board certification from the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 2020.
