Category: Events
2026-2027 Lunch 'n Learn Series In this presentation, you will build a basis for understanding animal feeds commonly used by keepers of backyard poultry. This includes highlighting what feeds are available in the market, how to gather insights from the feed tags, and the nutritional objective of each feed. We then will discuss animal specific feeding recommendations and how commercial feeds relate to nutrient requirements and performance of poultry. Lastly, the intersection of health and nutrition will be examined as it pertains to deficiency symptoms, use of nutrition to improve health outcomes, and trends we see keepers adopting for their backyard poultry.
