MVMA Fall Staff Seminar-Anesthesia Update: Is It Really about the Drugs or ? with Kris Kruse-Elliott, DVM, PhD, DACVAA, SAGE Veterinary Centers

Sessions to include: Newer Drugs in Anesthesia/Analgesia: Zobrium, Zenalpha, Solensia, Librela, Alfaxalone vs. Propofol; My Patient...Won't Stay Asleep, Won't Wake Up, Is Recovering Roughly, Won't Sedate; Troubleshooting Peri-Anesthetic Problems; Anesthesia for the Brachycephalic Breeds (dogs and cats); Anesthesia for Patients with Various Co-Morbidities and Peri-Operative Analgesia Options. 


 General Seminar Information:

  • Breaks and lunch provided to onsite seminar attendees. Contact the MVMA at 651-645-7533 if you have specific dietary needs.
  • Handouts are provided to all attendees.
  • We offer 6-7 credits for each seminar.
  • Cancellation requests must be received at least 72 hours prior to the seminar for a refund - a fee of 10% is nonrefundable.

Online Registration Option:

You have the option to attend most MVMA Seminars on that day beginning at 9:00 am CST from anywhere you have an internet connection! Choose the "webinar" option when you register and you will be emailed the secure internet link to attend the live session prior to the seminar. Only the purchaser will have access with this link as the attendees are monitored and must sign-in with their name. The webinar will only be available during the live presentation, it will not be offered at a later time/date.

What will you experience: once you have accessed the webinar your computer screen will be dominated with a direct-feed PowerPoint for clarity of viewing, plus the audio of speaker as the slides automatically advance on your screen. A small video window on the side of your screen will show the speaker presenting. During the Q&A session, you will be able to submit questions.
