About the Annual Conference

The Annual Conference, hosted by MVMA and supported by MAVT, brings together veterinary professionals from across the Upper Midwest for a 4-day event. Wednesday is an optional pre-training day; Thursday, Friday and Saturday are packed with educational sessions and opportunities to network. In 2025, the Minnesota Association of Veterinary Technicians' (MAVT) convention merged with MVMA's annual meeting. A technician track—planned in partnership with MAVT—was added to 2025 conference offerings, though all educational tracks are open to veterinary technician attendees.
