Why Become a Supporting Member?

The MVMA is a vital and growing organization, working for the enhancement of the veterinary profession and its members. Supporting Membership provides opportunities for involvement in MVMA by companies that provide products and services to the veterinary profession. It allows you stay in touch with what Minnesota veterinarians are doing and reach veterinary professionals in a variety of ways (see a detailed list of benefits below).

As a Supporting Member, you're also invited to join MVMA’s Industry Partners Committee, which aims to help veterinary professionals feel supported by the industry and to foster industry relationships through collaboration and networking.

MVMA encourages our veterinary professional members to contact Supporting Members first when considering sources for veterinary products and services.

Eligibility

Supporting Membership is open to any person, partnership, corporation, or other entity who is not otherwise eligible for membership in the Association, but who desires to support the purpose of the Association; membership allows them to be eligible to receive MVMA publications and participate in programs as permitted by the Board of Directors. Supporting members may not hold elective office or vote on any matter nor have any rights or title to or interest in any real or personal property of the Association. Supporting Members receive many of the benefits of DVM members and some that are unique.

Dues

Supporting member dues are $402 for the 2026–2027 membership year. Dues are paid annually and the MVMA membership year runs August 1 through July 31.

Join at any time! From November through May, membership dues for new members are prorated. If you join or renew on or after June 1, your membership will become active immediately and run through July 31 the following year.
