Veterinary Professional Wellness

Veterinarians are busy individuals. It may seem impossible to focus on personal wellness over other obligations, but prioritizing your physical and mental health is extremely important. Below are MVMA approved resources to help you maintain a balanced, healthy lifestyle and information for handling many of life's obstacles.
Moorhead Regional Wellbeing Town Hall
Join us on Thursday, Oct. 2 from 6–9:15 p.m. at the Courtyard Fargo/Moorhead for dinner and a unique opportunity. The Whole is Greater than its Parts: Using Personality, Processing and Generational Differences for Team Effectiveness will explore the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), processing styles, and generational differences as they relate to teams. We'll discuss how to best utilize our team members and recognize the value of each of the differences, as well as how to leverage those differences in the best possible ways. This is a FREE opportunity for MVMA members as well as CVTs and practice managers. Attend as an individual or as a clinic team! Earn 1.5 interactive non-medical CE.

Mental Health Benefit in Partnership with Restorative Path Counseling and Wellbeing
The MVMA partners with Restorative Path Counseling and Wellbeing to offer a unique mental health benefit to members. We recognize that veterinary professionals are selective about who they will approach with their struggles. Our mental health benefit aims to reduce barriers to accessing mental health care by connecting you with a reliable and credible mental health professional (Mrs. Athena M. Diesch-Chham, MSW, LICSW) with 12+ years of veterinary experience. Click the link above for more information.
