MVMA Surgery Suite at the Minnesota State Fair

The MVMA Surgery Suite was started in 1992. Surgeries are performed at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. This is an opportunity to educate the public about surgery and veterinary medicine as well as the importance of spaying and neutering pets. Each half-day volunteer shift has spots for one surgeon, one technician, and one DVM student on the surgery team and one DVM and one DVM student on the moderator team. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to give the public an up-close view of a segment of the work you do!
