After years of hard work at the legislature, we are proud to say that the Vet Tech Licensure Bill passed through both the House and Senate and was signed into law by Governor Walz in May 2024. The legislation will take effect in 2026.
Now Accepting Nominations for Veterinarian of the Year, Outstanding Faculty, Outstanding Industry Representative, Distinguished Veterinary Service, and Emerging Leader. Animal awards are being accepted for Hero, Companion, and Professional. Veterinary profession awards will be presented on Friday, 1/31/25 at the MVMA Business meeting and the Animal Hall of Fame Awards on Saturday, 2/1/25 during the Annual Meeting.
