2024-2025 Lunch 'n Learn Series Dive into the world of pet medical insurance and discover how it’s revolutionizing the way hospital teams care for their patients. Topics to be covered includes: What is pet medical insurance?; Key differences between the uninsured and insured patient experience; The Stop Treatment Threshold: what is it and how does it impact your team?; How to educate and empower your clients and team. Dr Kate An Hunter graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. After working as an associate in small animal primary care, she built Carver Lake Veterinary Center, a multi-doctor small animal clinic in Woodbury Minnesota. Twenty years later, she sold the practice and worked for Trupanion, educating veterinarians and their staff on the advantages of medical insurance for pets; how it not only improves the care that pet owners can choose for their pets, but makes medical practice more satisfying and profitable. Dr Hunter is mostly retired now, spending her time horseback riding, carriage driving and training in a variety of dog sports with Keegan, her constant companion. 1 interactive CE credit - Click here to register! |
