Feline Retrovirus Infections: Past, Present, and Perplexing

Around the world, the prevalence of feline retrovirus infections shows little change relative to a decade ago. These infectious diseases remain an important area of concern for regular surveillance as well as differential diagnoses for cats presenting with oral disease, abscesses, and respiratory signs. New information on diagnostic tests, staging the disease, and management of infected cats will be presented. A case-based approach will be used to demonstrate the perplexing nature of retrovirus infections in cats.
